Jacqueline GautierJacqueline Gautier, M.A., R.C.C., E.X.A., S.E.P. is a Registered Clinical Counsellor in the province of British Columbia who has been treating clients with Eating Disorders for over 25 years.  She worked as a clinician at NARSF (Nanaimo Area Resources Services for Families) under contract with the Ministry of Children and Family Development in their Eating Disorders Program for over 6 years, and at Edgewood Rehabilitation Treatment Centre for adults, specializing in adult Addictions and Eating Disorders for 5 years.

Currently she has a contract with Island Integrated Counselling Society for treating clients and providing clinical supervision to counsellors, on an approval basis, in Eating Disorders.

In her private practice, she currently treats a large number of children, youth and adults who suffer from this illness.

Jacqueline provides clinical supervision for clinicians seeking training in this specialty and she also consults with many organizations, providing lectures and seminars on Eating Disorders.  She has had extensive training in many theoretical modalities and uses an integrated approach to therapy.  Primarily she utilizes Somatic Experiencing®, Expressive Arts Therapy, Family Systems Approach, Early Attachment therapy, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and several others as she tailors therapy to suit each client.  Jacqueline creates a client-centered treatment plan unique to each situation.
